A: ArixMed is a choking first aid device designed to support emergency preparedness for suspected airway obstruction (choking). In an emergency, call your local emergency number and follow local first-aid guidance. ArixMed is intended to be used when standard first-aid maneuvers are unsuccessful or cannot be performed, including for vulnerable individuals such as infants, seniors, or wheelchair users.

A: ArixMed uses suction to help clear a suspected airway obstruction. When a secure seal is created with the appropriate mask, operating the device generates negative pressure that may help dislodge and remove the lodged object. A: ArixMed Choking Rescue Device is designed for everyday environments where choking risks can occur—at home during meals, while traveling, and in shared settings such as school dining areas, restaurants, and senior care facilities. Families with young children, caregivers of older adults, and organizations that want a more prepared first-aid setup often keep ArixMed as part of their emergency plan.

A: Each ArixMed Anti-Choking Device kit includes three masks (two adult masks—one for practical use and one for practice—and one child mask) plus a practice manual.

A: In an emergency, call your local emergency number and follow local first-aid guidance. If standard first-aid maneuvers are unsuccessful or cannot be performed, place the appropriate mask to create a secure seal over the mouth and nose, then operate the device to generate suction as instructed. A: Yes. We include clear instructions with every kit, and we also provide an instructional video to help you learn how to use the device. We recommend reviewing the instructions and practicing in advance so you feel confident in an emergency.

A: Yes. The kit includes a practice mask and a practice manual so you can become familiar with the device in advance.

A: No. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number and follow local first-aid guidance. ArixMed is intended to be part of a preparedness setup.

A: Yes. After use, you may gently wipe the mask with a mild disinfectant wipe, then allow it to air dry naturally before storing it again.

A: Store the device in a cool, dry place. Check the mask regularly to make sure it remains properly inflated and in good condition. We recommend replacing the mask every two years.

Shopping Information

A: No. ArixMed is sold as a one-time purchase.

A: Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Most orders arrive within 3–5 days after purchase (Alaska and Hawaii may take longer).

A: You’ll receive an order confirmation email. When your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping notification with tracking information.

A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

A: Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact service@arixmed.com and we’ll help make it right.

A:Return or exchange requests are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be unopened. Opened items may be returned only if there is a manufacturer defect. Refunds (for the unit price) are issued after we receive and inspect the returned item. Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund, unless the return is due to a manufacturer defect—in that case, we will provide a full refund of the unit price or a replacement.
