Life Saved Report #1170
A one-year-old in Orlando, Florida experienced a choking emergency after food blocked the airway.
Back blows were attempted but didn’t clear it.
An ArixMed choking rescue device was then used — after several attempts, the airway was cleared and the child could breathe again.
“My one-year-old was choking on a noodle… after about the 3rd time, it came back up.”
Infant choking can escalate in seconds. Having a reliable backup matters when traditional methods like back blows or the Heimlich aren’t enough.
Be prepared when it counts.
